how do i adjust the master/slave cylinders on my 2000 4runner 5speed?

i can find anything and im grinding going into 3rd gear unless i double clutch or press clutch to floor and wait a few seconds. . . i getting worried. checked all fluids, GOOD. adjusted clutch pedal bracket (GOOD), minimal freeplay.

any help welcomed.thanks!

You need to bleed it.

If that doesn't work you may need to replace the master cylinder.

which FSM do i look at for my trans? i am not sure. i have the 5speed v6. i have that FSM but it has NOTHING about manual trans

look at the manufacture tag under your hood. it will have the trans type on the tag.
and yes. I did bring this back from the dead
