How did you gap your Denso 5062's?
I just got the Denso 5062 spark plugs from Gadget and their gaps are too small. I've tried using a wire type gapper and some needle nose plyers to open up the gap for OEM gap size to no avail. How did you guys do this? I don't want to break off the prongs or bend the electrode. They seem to be gapped at about .035 and OEM is .043. Help...
Thanks....
Thanks....

You need to get a gapping vise to hold it and use a gap prybar or a gap hammer ...

Cheap gap tool looks like this and is .99 at any auto parts store. There are higher quality/more accurate ones (a buddy paid SnapOn something like $30 for a gap tool, but he's nuts,) but this works for 99.9% of us. You hook it onto the electrode to bend it.
Your wire gauge is more accurate and should have a gap tool on it for that matter - it's the notchie-thingie on it. (See 2nd picture)
