How can I check this?...
okay, so i've got a question about how i can check the fluid levels in my transmission and t-case. as you all can see from my sig, it's got the 5-speed. but i wanted to know this, as i have a small drip, nothing major though, but it's been doing it for a while and would like to know how to keep a check on it and how to add to it if need be. any help will be greatly appreciated...

there should be a fill plug somwhere on both of the tranny and tcase. check in your owners manual for exact location. full is when you can stick your finder in the hole (after you take the nut out) and you should be able to feel the fluid right there at the top

well, i don't have the owner's manual...it didn't come with one ...but i'm also thinking of buying a haynes manual for it. but i'm assuming that if i check this plug and can't feel the fluid, then i can just add more through that smae hole?

haha, oh yeah, from the thread about the kicker amp...lol! well, that's what yotatech's for...'yota owners helping out other 'yota owners... and btw, when i was looking at your photobucket pics of the box that you previously had as a ported oe but later sealed it up, i noticed something that might help you out...the small wall inside each side of the box that is directly behind each sub (the one that makes an "L" with the wall of the port) seems to be to short. when i looked at this and thought back to how mine were, i remembered that mine were much longer...the length of these is what ultimately determines what frequency the box will best work at...just thought i'd let you know...

don't blame ya there, as if your happy with it, stick with it...haha! i had my old setup in a sealed box for a/b 6 months, but only decided to go to the big ported box as my friend talked me into going to some spl contests with him and the ported was the only way to go for the high spl numbers that i wanted...needless to say, me and him won a few trophies at 'em and embarrassed some systems that cost a/b 2x as much...haha!
