How about steel White Rims?
Anyone ever toyed with the idea of putting white steel rims on your rig?

I can't tell if that looks cool or totally LAME.

its hard to say...
it really doesnt look that bad, however, i have never been a real fan of colored wheels. but in this situation it doesnt look that bad.
would these be for trail use only? or for everyday use as well
if it were me, i would use those just for the trail

John,
I suggest you talk with SportRunner (Sam Porter) on his opinion of cheap wagon-wheels. He hasn't been very impressed with them and really prefers the stock wheels. I think he has problems with the beads becoming unseated when aired down.
Personally, I think black would look much better on our white 4Runners.

Get some white ones and then paint them Hooter's Orange???
Seriously though, I like black and have black. It just seems easier on my eyes to look at the black because the white will never have the same shine as the rest of your truck.

Yeah, the more I looked at that pic - the more I don't like it. I'm not sure I like black rims on a white rig either - but it's all good- the last thing I'm going to spend money on right now is on rims - I just was wondering if anyone had ever thought about it.

While you are at it, how about photo[C]hopping in some gunmetal grey wheels??? Maybe they would look cool because they would be different. I for one would be interested in seeing it!
