I had a Lund on my old '90 and now have the Yota bug deflector on my '00. The Yota deflector seems more structurally secure and a better fit, but mine whistles somewhat over 35 miles per hour. The Lund seemed a bit shakier but didn't whistle, for whatever it's worth.

EGR is another brand (I think that's what it's called), but I think they look a bit funky.

I've got the toyota bug deflector on my hood. It's quiet, no wind noise, and seems to be securely mounted. Try to take a look at one mounted before you buy any of them. I was surprised that mine is mounted a little bit up off the hood, then I realized that the hood actually curves down, and that the deflector is just mounted in the position where a conventional hood would end. lol

i'll second the 3M tape, it does the job without the crudness of those hard plastic bug deflectors ruining the looks of the truck you just purchased. and its real easy to apply( think of tinting the hood of your truck )

Thanks for all your replies... Never even thought about seeing one in person! I Will definetely check out some this weekend and see what I like. Looks like I am leaning more towards the Toyota deflector. And have it painted the same color on both sides before installing.
