Your parents don't want a hot air intake. Leave it as is and get an Amsoil or K&N drop in.

No, it wont. Barely detectable really.

Sounds like you need to go custom. Another option is to search for intakes that will fit the V6 Camry, which is basically the same vehicle. Some retrofitting might be necessary, so keep that in mind.

Somebody is gonna have to use Mom's Highlander for his date to the prom and doesn't want to look like a dweeb!

Shame on you. Leave Mom's Highlander alone, it's fine for getting to work, grocery store, and hauling the kids around for the next 200,000 miles. K&N filters suck dirt and dirty up the MAF, so stick with Toyota filters.

And get your own truck for the prom.

Im pretty sure injen makes them for that engine. You didnt mention if you have the 4 or 6cyl model. But my friends solara with the same 4cyl motor in the LOWlander has the injen intake.

We popped the airbox open on my friends Highlander a while back, and I must say, it sounded pretty cool at WOT. So, I would imagine an intake would sound good - but I am not sure if parents would be too keen on it!
