Highlander Blinkers and Cruise Control not working
Completely out of the blue, the blinkers and the cruise control on my 2002 Highlander stopped working. The highbeams and other lights work, but nothing happens when I move the turn signal lever up or down. And the "Cruise" light shows up on the panel when I press in the cruise button, but it doesn't kick on when I push the cruise lever down.
I don't know how these would be related. Does it sound like a fuse problem, or something more serious? I don't work on the car myself, and haven't done anything to it lately. The only thing was a 30k check up about a month ago.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you are still under the bumper to bumper warranty, take it in. Don't fool with it yourself unless you are good at electrical diagnostics.
Checking fuses is easy, so do that first of course.

I had the cruise control go out in the wife's 2001 Highlander. It was a bad computer module in the cruise control controller. Did not have any blinker problems though.
