Here is my list of things I'd like to do during the summer while I have plenty of time & money to do them :

I'd appreciate input on ease of doing these things and also what they may cost me :

Must do:

New tires
New rear springs (my saggy a$$ needs to get a lift)
Fix rust in quarter panels (I have rust HOLES thanks to my brother who thought it would be nice to poke them through when he visited me)
New front brake rotors & pads


Okay some of the things I'd like to do:

Repack all bearings
Change all fluids (tranny, diff cases, all engine fluids) and replace with synthetics
Replace F&R diff case seals
Extend diff case breathers
Finally remove running boards
Wax & polish EVERYTHING
Fix rear driver side door window (motor crapped out I think)
Shampoo entire interior carpeting


Okay that's my list, it's big, is there any way I can get like a "bulk discount" on all that stuff? lol

Oh yes and I also want to know where to get the rebuild for the idler arm? And also if there is any place to get a pitman arm cheaper than $80?

Change all hoses
Replace fuel filter
Replace air filter
Replace themostat
Rebuild front disks, use sloted rotors
Rebuild rear drums
Replace power antenna assembly
Service power sunroof motor/tracks/chains
Replace bumper and corner lenses
Redo all wiring for aux lights, amp/sub, and CB
Add a second set of cross bars under safari basket for extra support
Replace 3 wheel bearings (already did one of them)
Reverse tires (mount them with the white letters on the inside)
Rotate/balance tires
Alignment
Dynomat the hell out of the interior
Add OEM hoodliner

I had to replace the oil seal on the output shaft of the transfer case this past weekend. That's a job I don't want to do again for a very long time!
But, on the bright side, I replaced the transfer case fluid with synthetic.

You can call your local Toyota parts dealer to get the parts for the ilder arm. You'll need two replacement bushings and the grease seal (aka dust boot). I think I paid about $18 for everything.
