Helping a buddy decide on a t4r
I have a friend that is looking at buying a 2000 Sr5 with 90K for for $5000. I personally think thats a great deal even if it is in bad condition. He says it appears to be in great condition but is not certain. He is getting it inspected today. his girlfriend would pick it up in DC and drive it to Phoenix- Sound like a good deal? Unfortunaltly he cant provide me with any real info on the truck though.

I would grab one of those for that price if it was in nice shape, thats depending on options at least 5k below KBB price.

Is it 2wd since that's incredibly cheap for a '00 Runner and the mileage isn't anything.

its a 4wd 3.4 but no sunroof-- Im wondering it is the base model.

UPDATE-- Mechanic says its in good condition and runs great.

Yeah, considering I just spent $4000 on a 90 4X4 xtra cab. If I would have known deals like that are out there... wow...

ya its on the lot that my buddy's girl works on- I think thats why she's getting such a good deal. And yes it is in Washington D.C
