Help with rear window : it's loose in the rear hatch!

Ok, my rear window has been making some weird noises when I was lowering it. Namely, the last few inches were very noisy. I figured that it was just some rust in the mechanism.

Sure enough, I took the hatch apart and lubed every rusted place I could find.

It did help a bit, but not much.

Well, yesterday, I wanted to lower it, and it started going down only on the right hand side.

I stopped lowering it and started closing it. I had to help it by hand, and it wouldn't go all the way up. I can also wiggle it a lot.

It feels like it's completely loose inside the hatch, like its mountings have been torn off or something. When it's opened 6-7 inches, I can grab the window and play around with it.

WTF is going on???

You got in there before, get back in there again and take a look at the windows' track mounts as they appear to have come loose..., perhaps due to age..., perhaps due to vandals.

Either way, tighten them up and you should be good to go.

Thanks, I will do that.

I do not need that to break now.
