Help with rear suspension

Hello all, I've got a bit of an issue with my rear suspension and would love some assistance.

First off, the specs:
98 SR5 4x4 4runner
TRD axle swap (I think from a 97 or 98 truck)
OME rear shocks
Stock springs

The issue:
-when the axle articulates downward there is a loud clunk/pop that comes from the rear
-this occurs when pulling out of a steep driveway and similar situations where one or both wheels articulate substantially

The diagnosis:
-found one upper control arm (REAR AXLE, not front) is broken at the weld (appears to be due to rust)
-replaced the rear UCA and problem still exists

-put the frame on jack stands and used a jack to lower the axle
-when watching the axle come down I observed the sway bar catches on the electric motor cover which builds tension as it comes down and then the sway bar pops over the cover on the TRD locker motor housing (cover)

-pulled the sway bar out and quickly noticed it is single-directional and was not installed incorrectly
-laid the sway bar on the ground and discovered it seems to be twisted (this is speculation because I don't have a true sway bar to compare it to)

Your sway bar is for the old axle and not bent to accommodate the elocker.
