help please.....

can anyone tell me how to disable the auto door locking feature
on the 2003 4runner? is there a way to just leave it unlocked all the time and not have to unlock it when the truck is put in drive?
any ifo is much appreciated....thanks guys

MAN!!! That would drive me nuts too. Like i will lock my doors when i want to lock my doors. Talk about an invasion of your personal space. I hope you find the solution quick.

check your owners manual , on my 2001 dodge ram , there was a seris of key on/off that you did to disable that feature . toyota may have done the same kind of thing .

That automatic door locking thing KILLS me! I travel quite a bit on business and it seems every domestic rental car I drive has the feature that locks the doors when you put it in Drive. If they are going to instal that feature, you would think that the doors would unlock when you put it in Park or turn the car off - BUT NOOOOO! I about rip the door handle off every time I try to get out of the car.
