HELP! OEM Brushguard
Hey everyone,
I recently bought a brushguard off Ebay. Its an OEM Yota part.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2400404513
He listed the guard as fitting a 90-95 4runner.
Today when I tried to mount it using the bolt holes for the tow hooks, it looks like it will not fit because it rams into the valence.
(I have a 1995 4Runner Ltd.)
Does anyone know wether the OEM Brushguards changed during those years?
I know the Yota brushguard isnt the most wanted I tem but I figure it would hold some driving lights/ fog lights just fine!
Plus its really my wifes vehicle...
Help me please!
Mike

Pics
I can't see the pics...
I had one for 93 that I bought in 95 or 96 for it. As far as I know, they were all the same. Mine was a nice snug fit as I remember.

On my 92 its a real snug fit. If i remember on the guard the area where it mounts to the clips, has extra holes so you can move the guard closer or futher away from the front bumper.

Tow hooks
Hey guys,
Cebby the pic is further down the page.....
Did you all have to utilize the tow hooks as spacers to space the founting brackets lower?
In other words-
FRAME....TOW HOOKS....BRUSHGUARD BRACKET....BOLTS...
Thanks,
Mike

oops
Excuse the brain .
That's the one I had, except I had the hoops that go around the headlights too. From the pics, I remember now that it also attaches where the license plate holes are. I haven't had mine for a while, got a Smittybilt a long time ago, so I don't remember on the frame mounting exactly. I do still have the PIAA 959's I ran on it and they are ***F O R S A L E***. Check Piaa's site for more info. PM me if interested.
