HELP: no brake lights
Everything else works back there. Parking light, tail light, turn signals, reverse lights. Unfortunately, I don't know how long this has been this way so I can't say if it is related to other activity under the hood. But it has been a long time since I've done much of anything under there except oil changes. Fuses are good, bulbs have been replaced (even though i didn't think it was that) and as I noted, every other light back there works. The haynes manual shows the taillights on a 15A circuit, but I don't have a 15A circuit. That's in the under hood fusebox. Am I missing something? Secondary fuse, relay, switch... something? I hate electrical stuff.

Replace the brake fuse just for fun (sometimes they go bad and they look good) and check the sockett with a test light for starters. Then I would try checking the wires to see if the insuation has won through anyware causing a short circut. After that??? That's about all I can think of.

Check the bulbs to make sure they are seated properly,I had the same problem with everything working fine but no brake lights and it was just that the bulbs weren't pushed all the way in. Doh!!!

Whats the purpose of the switch near the bottom of the emergency brake? My manual makes no mention of it, and when i release my emergency brake it doesnt even touch it.
Btw Hondatec521, would you happen to be a member of honda-tech.com?
