Help me with my beadlock and wheel color combo.
Help me with my beadlock and wheel color combo. If I'm shelling out to get this done, I want it to look good. Please vote on what combo you think will look best. Here's a pic of the Runner with some beadlocks chopped on by Eli (Lee)
I'm looking at the C3 beadlocks from Champion. Just going to do one first to check out how it works. These will be on the stock SR5 split spoke alloys.
Here's the beadlock info:

I think the blue really accents the tires and it matches the color of your rig. Black wheels would be less distracting than the polished. Show us a pic when you get it finished (I'm sure you will anyway).

I voted for black pc'd rims with a polished ring. I think that it would make it pop just a little, and add just the right about of polished aluminum to your rig. Don't forget to post pics.

Have you checked into having OMF do the job? They do some quality work, they have similar scaloped rings
As for the colored rings, they won't match your rigs color and if you wheel it, the rings will get scratched up. I opted for polished rings, since they hide the scratches much better.

As it stands, the blue lockring is winning. Collectively, the votes are 22 for the blue lockring, 10 for black, and 10 for polished. 307 views and only 42 votes? VOTING IS FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL PEOPLE!!
I stripped the clearcoat off of one of my SR5 alloys today and boxed it up to be the test mule.

I have OMF's. The rock domes keep the rings pretty well in tact, I have less than 3 scratches on the rings while less than 3 of the domes are still pristine. Part of me wishes I would have gotten a black ring to blend in with the tire or maybe scallops to look really pimp.
That being said, if you use them in rocks, the rings will get hammered. Any andonizing, powdercoating or whatever will get killed. The domes will save it, but they shiny, so you might as well leave the ring shiny too.
