help me choose a tonneau cover
I am considering a toyota tonneau for my Tacoma. Does anyone have this cover? Are there better tonneau covers to be had for the price of the toyota ($250)? Any tacoma owners with tonneaus let me know what kind and what you like/dislike about them. Thanks.

I have an extang cover on the back of my pickup. It's the same size and setup as the Tacoma covers. It's a real nice cover, it has no snaps (uses a locking channel) and it looks nice and clean on the truck. I haven't seen the factory ones so I really can't compare them. I got mine as a gift, but if you look around your prob. could find one for close to $200/225.
The only problem with it, is that it's a pain in the ass to put back on when it's cold (but you will find that with any cover)
Good luck with your cover purchase,
Eric

Don't know if they are still around, but I had a Tek Systems tonneau cover on my old truck. Thing held up great over many years. It had an aluminum frame that mounted on the rails and tailgate, but still allowed you to open the tailgate. The snaps were in a channel so you always got a good fit.
