Help! I can't change my #6 spark plug (can't get to it)

I can't get to the #6 plug. The wrench won't fit in between the metal thing not sure what it is(?). How should I proceed? Thanks for your help!

# 6 Spark Plug, Drivers side, by the firewall. View #2, from the top of the engine.

Can you get a swivel attachment in there with an extension?

I did my plugs, tubes and wires when I replaced my valve cover gaskets (looks like yours could use them too, if you're looking for another project ), so I didn't have to deal with this. Everything was out of the way. I'm sure with an extension and swivel you'd be able to get at it, though.

Makes it a little easier

Can you move metal thing?
May have to remove or loosen a bolt.

I ended up not needing to move it. A long extension with a 5/8 spark plug socket could sneak to the right of it. Thanks Marc!

Red face

When I change my plug I remove the top bolt and loosen the bottom one on the bracket and just move it towards the front. of the engine.

Not like your changing plugs all that often
