Help I am having problems with my Clutch!!

Is there any one out there that has done a 4.3 non vortec engine swap and used a stock 5 Toyota 5 speed Trans?

I am having problems with my clutch, it is not disengaging. I bought a slave cylinder with a smaller bore to obtain more throw but it is not enough I need about 1/8” to ¼” more throw.

Is there a way to bleed the clutch master cylinder maybe there is some air in it. I got all the air out of the slave cylinder so I don’t know what else to do.

Does anybody know of a different Clutch master cylinder or any other way I may be able to get more throw out of my slave cylinder?

I bought all my stuff from Advanced Adapters but yet they can’t tell me why I am having this problem.

Hopefully I am not the only person that has had this problem.

Thanks for everything
J.D.

Go easy on it or you will be having problems with the trans. Its not rated for that much torque.

If you still have the factory clutch and mastercylinder you can adjust it from inside the cab. There should be a nut and a flange that connect to youre clutch pedal. if you get them loose you can adjust it out or on depending on the desired result.

It is a factory Clutch master cylinder but the slave cylinder is out of a land cruiser and the clutch and pressure plate is a center force stage 2.
