Help!!! Alarm is stopping me from starting the truck

So I got married last night. I need to drive back to KC today so we can go on our flight out to go on our honeymoon. I have a 02 with the Commando FM-870 alarm.
The alarm is going off and I can't stop it with the remote or with the switch inside. It is preventing me from starting the car!! So, I am trying to see where to unplug it or something. Any ideas?? HELP ME!!! Thanks

way to help elton, its not like he has a honeymoon flight to catch or anything

i'd call the manufacturer and explain the situation. if your kill switch that was mounted in the cabin isn't working i can't think of anything that could bypass the engine connectors. above anyone the makers should know how to get your alarm disabled and your car running again

The alarm company is closed......We are opening gifts right now and I think after this I am just going to try and look around to see if there is a harness. The flight doesn't leave until tomorrow but I need to leave to go back home today.

How are you trying to use the button inside. On mine i think i have to turn the key on and press the button. The one in my Tahoe i have to hit a coded sequence.

Ok straight form manf website:

J. DISARMING WITHOUT A TRANSMITTER ( Alarm Feature III - 1 Programming )
OVERRIDES THE ALARM WITHOUT PASSWORD PIN CODE: (Factory Default Setting)
The Override function may be used if the remote transmitter is lost or inoperative.
1. Enter the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to 'ON? position. (Alarm will sound.)
2. Within 10 seconds push and release the valet switch
The alarm will stop sounding and enter the disarm mode. You can now start and operate the vehicle
normally.
OVERRIDE THE ALARM WITH PASSWORD PIN CODE: (Alarm Feature III - 1 Programming)
Unlike valet switch easily found, and defeated, this security system allows the consumer to program a
password pin code. Offering a higher level of security.
1. Enter the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to 'ON? position. (Alarm will sound.)
2. Within 5 seconds, enter your chosen the first digit code by press and release the Valet Switch.
(When finished above procedures, system's siren stop alarming, parking light stop flashing, but the
vehicle can not be start and drive away.)
3. Within 15 seconds of the last digit code enter (the 1st code), turn the Ignition Switch ?OFF? and then
?ON?.
4. Within 15 seconds, enter your chosen of the second digit code by press and release the Valet Switch.
5. Turn the ignition switch ?OFF? position.
[4] Chirps form siren/horn, [3] flash from parking light to indicate the system was disarmed.
Note 1: You must override the alarm within 60 seconds. If not, the system will automatically re-arm.
EXAMPLE: To Override The System With The Password Code 83, you would;
1. Enter the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to 'ON? position. (Alarm will sound.)
2. Within 5 seconds, Press and Release the Valet Switch 8 times
(When finished above procedures, system's siren stops alarming, parking light stop flashing, other
sensor stop trigger, but the vehicle can not be start and drive away.)
3. Within 15 seconds of the last digit code enter (the 1st code), turn the Ignition Switch ?Off? and then ?ON?.
4. Within 15 seconds, Press and Release the Valet Switch 3 times
5. Turn the Ignition Switch to ?Off? position.
[4] Chirps form siren/horn, [3] flash from parking light to indicate the system was disarmed.

if it does not let u start it when it is going off then it is wired so it bypasses the starter/ignition line from the ignition to the starter. try getting a new batt for the remote, other than that good luck

Not sure if you tried this and it's to late, but disconnect the battery and then turn your key to the "on" position and then re connect the battery.

UNPLUG IT. then start your car... thats all i did. reach under there and pull the plug from the alarm. or just take out the fuse which runs from one of the wires coming from the alarm box.

If re-setting the power (unplugging ,disconnecting the battery, fuse, etc,)doesn't work, you gonna have to remove the whole alarm system.Look under the dash, steering column area and you should see the unit and wiring.Disconnect battery(ground terminal)and start disconnecting the wires, careful you might have to splice back the original "cut"wires. You should also see a relay wired to the ignition switch(follow the ignition wires)solder your connections!Remove all aftermarket wiring, including wires to the brake switch if equipped with remote starter.Take your time.

Thanks, I finally got it later that day. I think it just tripped out. It seems good now. I did the battery trick and I think it seemed to work. Thanks
