Hello all.

JUST TO DISCLOSE THAT IM REALLY WITHOUT EXPERIENCE WITH CARS.

My 4Runner overheated. I was on the freeway and i need gas. I stopped, turn thed car off inserted gas. Then noticed water on the floor. i opened the hood and the radiator tap was not where it is supposed to be. I pressure it exploded of over heating. i waited for it cool down and then insert water. The car starts but it shakes when set in to drive and reverse. i have a machine that reads cars to observe what is wrong. i have changed all of the thing listed by the machines but it stills shakes. My father and bother assume that are the valves for compression. I dont really know. If any you can please help me I will greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a misfire. Probably overheating cracked a head and it's dumping coolant into the cylinder. Are you losing coolant slowly without a leak? I'd take it some where and get it checked out since you're not very familiar with cars.

Thank you for the response. It appears that there is not any leaks. But my father did mentioned something about the heads. We are working to get a mechanic.

Right no leaks but if coolant slowly disappears from the reservoir tank then it's going into the cylinder causing the misfire.

Of course I'm just guessing at all this which is why I said to take it to someone so they can look at it.
