Hello: Simple Question (I hope)

Hey guys, first off I would just like to welcome myself. I just registered with this board as most of you can tell in pursuit to further increase my knowledge about the 4runner. As I said, I just purchased a new 2003 4runner and am curious as to whether there is a way to tell if the X-reas suspension components have been installed on my truck. The truck at the dealer was the exact 4runner I wanted, except it was sold, so they had to ship one in from the inventory at Jacksonville. Everything looked and felt the same about the car and I took the word of the dealer that it was the "exact same." Anyways, I forgot to ask the dealer if this 4runner had the X-reas suspension. The other one did so I am assuming that this one does too. It has been bothering me for a couple days and is there any way to tell if my truck has it installed? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide me with.

Not that I can help you personally, but I'm just going to get it out of the way and tell you what the next 2 or 3 people would have told you anyway...

Pics, man... pics!

Jmitch- Welcome and you made a wise purchase.

Look behind the running boards along the outside of the frame and you should see the hydraulic lines running to the shocks. Those are the X-REAS lines.

If you got a Limited you should be covered.

Going fast around a good cloverleaf will be a good indicator as well.

Thanks for the help and kind words . I will try to get some pics of my ride as soon as possible. As for now, I am going to check if the X-reas shocks are installed (just woke up). I wish it would have been that easy, just to check the sticker sdastg1 but the shipped one didn't have one (if we are talking about the same thing.) Oh yeah, and metal22lica, I am in Boca Raton FL. About half an hour from Miami and West Palms.
