headers

im wanting to install headers on my 94 3.0 truck.....anybody have a clue as to how hard of a diy project this would be....and how cheap i can get the headers for? Also may be interested in ram air...Where can i find ram air hoods similar to those on the 3rd gen 4runners that would work on a 2nd gen truck?

All the reviews I had seen about headers were a bear! I want some too, but I'm going to do it when I replace my engine.

i have a 3.0 v6 91 yota...and i was thinkin of headers too someday. my buddy did headers and said it took the whole day. DOWNEY OFF ROAD makes awesome headers which give quite an increase in power. if your lookin for more power too, look into new intake manifold... increasing the diameter adds power. downey makes one too

3.0 Headers:
Chrome: $318.30
Ceramic Covered: $350.86

also if u have a lift , you might need a special y connector... not sure...

intake manifold: %454.50

those are from Downeys 2001 Catalog, the most current one out.
