Has anyone put a locker in an Active TRAC vehicle?
Has anyone on the board put a locker in a truck with Active TRAC (Toyota's computerized traction control system)?
I have heard theories that everything would work just fine -- that TRAC would just not sense speed differences between the wheels on a locked axle, and would thus do nothing.
I'm just wondering if anyone had tried it. And, of particular interest to me, tried it with just a rear locker engaged?

Thanks for the info! Have you ever tried it with just the back locked and observed the ATRAC working on the front axle? I'm asking because I'm contemplating getting a rear locker, and my guess is the ATRAC would still benefit me in the back. Just thought I would throw the question out to possibly get confirmation.

Have never really noticed that scenario, but then again I don't get offroad all that much, just got the lockers after surfing this site too much. Kind-of the old "better to have and not need, than to need and not have" mentality. I just lock ever so often to keep things lubed and working.

Do it Mike!
Pete has them?
I know there was at least one Arizona Rocks guy that did that. It should be no worries since there is no slip when the lockers are engaged and I think that it may make the front better if the rear is locked.

I will be doing the same thing Mike as soon as I can find someplace to buy my pre-built 4.88 ARB-equipped diffs. That is turning out to be harder than I thought.

To my knowledge, Dave ("Fear") is the only other guy other than MO-Runner with 'em.
