Hard Start 3.0 V6

my truck has been having trouble starting
it takes like three tries but it always starts
it cranks but doesnt start right away


this isnt a started thing is it?

what could it be, the timing is on and the timing belt had just been replaced by a shop,
has new coil, ignitor, plug wires, plugs

try changing the fuel filter

it starts pretty easy when cold but when warm its a pita

My old truck with the 3.0 did this too. When it was cold it would start right up. After driving it would take a few more extra cranks to fire up. It would run fine after it started though. It had a new oem shortblock too, so im not sure what the problem was.

I would consider replacing the EFI relay under the hood and the other relay under the dash left of the heater core. Had that problem with my '95 Yota Hilux pickup 3.0 ... after placing relays no more problem.
