Talking Happy Happy Happy!!!!!!!

I just ordered a set of Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's 265/70R17 from www.tirerack.com and a maganaflow muffler (4x9 18 inch) from www.bigexhaust.com. for my 2003 4Runner V6 Got great deals from both places. I just hope they arrive before the weekend so I can get everything installed. For the people who live in Northern NJ, and are looking for a shop that has the GSP 9700 Hunter Balancer and the Haweka Flange Adapter, Hudson Toyota on RT.440 in Jersey City has them both. Give them a call and ask to speak to Jimmy Soto. Great customer service Rep. I'm hoping to get a digital camera this upcoming holiday season so I can take some pics for all to see.

I think you'll really like the Revo tires Hulk. So far they have been great for me.

Enjoy.

Did they say anything about a backorder situation on that size?
I tried 10 days ago and was told by several local dealers, Upstate NY, that they were out of stock nationwide. I went for a set of 275s and like them. I did notice that tire pressure setting is an issue on my '03. I originally set them to 38 psi, and had a weird wandering in the steering, like the caster was off. I dropped the pressure in one lb increments until I got to 35, then they seemed to settle in. Noise is not bad, can't wait for the white stuff and hunting season!!!

35 PSI is what I have settled on and seems to provide the best handling and ride characteristics.

So you installed 275/65x17? Is there any rubbing? Did it make the tire taller or fatter?

I should have clarified that. I picked up a set of '03 oem 16" steel wheels and put 275/70/16 REVOs on them. Overall, the height diff is only 1" more than the 265/65/17s. The extra width didn't cause any problems at all. I intend to run the oem BS H/Ts in the summer and the REVOs for the winter. I didn't want to keep switching tires on and off the wheels each season, and don't want to run the alloy wheels in the winter with the amount of salt they use up here.
