Grinding on front driver tire after replacing the CV Axles
Hello all it has been awhile since my last post. I need help again.
I replaced my CV axle left and right side a week ago. I purchased bearings but did not use them. The bearings in place looked fairly new and in great shape. The problem I have is I am getting a grinding noise on the front driver tire. If I start out driving in the morning and do not hit the bakes alot I do not get the grinding. After hitting the brakes a couple of times while driving it starts to get worse.
Note I replaced rotors and pads less than 4 months ago. I also have not drove the 4runner more than 3000 miles since the brake work.
It is not a constant grind it is a grind that comes each single rotation of the tire. I checked for rocks behind the shroud. I checked the brakes and they do not seem to be getting hot. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for your

i had a bad cv axle from one of the box stores that wasn't made right and my abs sensor would grind on the magnetic strip on the axle during braking
you may also wanna make sure you don't have the drivers swapped with the passenger side by mistake
