^ Seriously.

I can lock mine in 2WD and I use quite a bit. Be sure to have some kind of safety in place though. I almost activated mine while going 60MPH one time (my switch is by my e-brake).

i was just posting something that possibly 1 person could benifit from, and this dude chimed in.

supposedly the locker won't activate above 5mph, but i won't be testing that!!

Rocko-do you still want the sport kings?

Hey man, I was just poking a little fun at his spelling, and he freaked out...

Of course, i never claimed to be this "mature" you speak of

By the way, I did the "grey wire" mod, works great even though I havn't used it much yet lol. I kept the under 5mph safety lock though, probably better that way

first i didn't freak out. your first comment, seemed like i was gearing the whole thing to you. and as for the spelling, i'm deaf so how i interpret things may be a bit different than how others may.

then don't involve yourselves in it, the only reason i found out about it is because of current threads like this one.

didn't your mama's teach you "if you don't have anything nice to say, then keep your mouth shut."

Listen, we're not trying to be rude, but the fact is if we tried to advertise every mod to newbies in this way, it would be a complete mess. There is a beautiful newbie section which has a huge FAQ in it detailing many popular mods including this one, deckplate, ISR, etc...

I'm glad you are excited to bring newbs up to date on cool mods like this one, but in the end, it's much more efficient to point new people to the Toyota FAQ in the newb section.

I mean, do we really need to make random threads asking people if they have heard done such and such a mod yet, when the reasoning behind it is to educate someone who hasn't???

you call these posts not busting balls, this guy was indirectly poking fun at me being deaf, but it doesn't bother me that much, i'm used to that. i didn't get all up in arms or anything.
i don't need help with anything on this topic, if i want help i'll ask. i had done this mod, and i figured that there may be other people here that have no idea about it , and would bring some aware, and raise questions. thats it.
and i personally don't think i freaked, on anything. i thought we had it straightend out.
i guess when "registered users" put "Contributing members" in there place they go and taddle tell. like KIDS. man up!! all i was trying to do was possibly help others who could be in the same place i was a month ago, thats it. and as for the other incedent, the guy was wrong on his info, plain and simple. he was corrected on that thread.

if a person here doesn't agree with whats on here, then don't read it.

i love yotatech, don't get me wrong. i've learned a ton, and there are tons of knowledgable people here. i wish i knew about it along time ago. it just seems that when some people are on line, they can mistreat others, who if they were face to face they would undoubtly keep thier mouths shut. it doesn't hurt to be polite.

wow this thread went down hill fast any ways doing the mod allows you to lock it any time you want instead of only having it work in 4lo

Man, just chill. He didn't do anything to poke fun at you being deaf unless you're just being too sensitive.

You're right that it doesn't hurt to be polite, but you can't take every thing to heart here.

Just relax man, life is too short to get your panties in a bunch over some one giving you a hard time on the internet.
