Great Weekend: SAW, OME, and Winch Intalled with Pics
Spent most of the day Saturday intalling my new suspension system and winch. I went with the SAW Tundra valved Racerunners up front and OME HD springs in the rear. I threw in Lars discos and a new Superwinch X9 as well. I love the new stance and feel of the truck! I ended up with 3.5" of lift in the rear and have the front coils set at 1.75" or so for now. I will drive it around for a week and then get an alignment, but it tracks perfectly. As promised, here are some pics:
The Kit:
Before:
Now:
The install was pretty smooth except for a couple snags. The big one was ARB drop-shipped the wrong shocks - of course I didn't check them until I chopped off the old shocks. I ended up having to find a cheapo set and have my brother weld on the stock eyelets because nobody in town had 4runner shocks in stock, but one place had one that was the same dimensions and had the stud on the top. I will be installing the OME shocks as soon as the replacements arrive.
Can't wait for the windchills to be warmer than -20F so I can try and get stuck and use the winch!

Armor and rear cargo storage are next. Then lockers in the fall. Gotta go and start making some dough . . .

sounds like you did get some good deals. i paid a lot more for the coilovers than you did. i knew that i could have gotten them cheaper from mike or on the internet somewhere... but my front shocks were gone and i need new ones so i paid about 850... but they are worth it.
your rig looks sweet i love those ARB bumpers.

$400.00 BUCKS W/ roller fairlead?????? Holy Shiznitz! Best $$ I found for a 9k winch w/ fairlead was $650.00.
I wish we had a Northern Hydraulics Outlet Store *sigh*

It's a scratch and dent store but the only marks on the winch are some scuffs on the solenoid control box. These winches go fast and you have to call the store the day after they get their weekly shipments.
