Got some wheels and a question...

Whats up everyone, I havent logged on for a while. Anyways I got the sequoia wheels and some cool seat covers that are almost leather but its actually pleather, lol. I was thinking of lifting the runner with either a 3 or 4" lift. I was wondering if you guys have some pointers because i dont go off-roading much so will my ride quality be sacrificed and what will happen to my handling characteristics? Thanks for the help here are some pics.

nice seat covers. do you have them for the passenger and driver seats also? if you want to raise your truck, i'd say throw in some spacers. daystar 2.25" revtek 3", then top that off with a BL 1-2". then swap out your shocks and you'll be good to go.

I think your truck would look better w/o the running boards!

Yes I have the seat covers on all the seats actually. So why do I have to change the shocks again? I changed them like 4k miles ago with monroe sensatracks. Can I still use these shocks with the lift kit? Thanks for the info

im not sure about the front of the 3rd gens cause they have struts, but if you do a suspension lift you will at least have to get new shocks for the back. if you're concerned about ride quality, then you should get some beefier sway bars front and back. also, some stiffer shocks like the bilsteins will help once its lifted.

it will help to offset the amount of leaning you will get going around corners in a lifted truck.

Yes its a backup sensor and that box is a led screen that shows how far an object is from the sensor. The truth is if its not an OEM item it sucks! The sensors were working fine till it started raining and everything went bad. I guess the wires went bad because it works sometimes but most of the time it doesnt work, it takes up precious space.

yes you can still use your shocks with a spacer (revtek/daystar) set up. the reason i said swap out your shocks was i thought you were riding on stock shocks.
