Question Got a problem. Please help!!!!!

My park lights and instrument panel lights have gone out. I checked the fuses under the hood and replaced the relay under the dash but still got nothing. What to do?? BTW, I got a 1991 toyota pickup. Never gave a problem before now.

Thanks,

GB

Break out the voltmeter and start testing. There might be a simpler fix but I dont know it. Look for 12 volts DC and see where power is and is not. Did you check the fuses in the cab under the streering to the left? You need to remove the plastic under dash panel. It is a snap, I do it all the time (istalling stereo speaker and other things) One 9 or 10 mm bolt and a few philipp screws is all. The just pull it off but watch out for the hood release leaver I just leave it attached when I work in there.

Didnt know there was a fuse box underneath the panel. I just went back out and crawled underneath the steering wheel and looked but couldnt see anything due to the AC ductwork. Couldnt feel anything there either, couldnt reach over top the ductwork. I'll pull that plastic down in the AM and check. Thanks for giving me a starting place.

I also have a 91 pickup... the fuse block is behind the plastic kick panel that covers the drivers left foot area from the floor to the dash.. like 2wd1stgen said 2 or 3 screws and it comes right off.
