Got my new skid plates (Trail Carnage)
Well, finally got my Trail Carnage skid plate set, which replaces both stock skid plates, and extends farther back to protect the transmission and transfer case. The welds look clean, and the plates are beefy! I'm guessing they each are about 50 lbs or so. Changing the oil is going to be a bit of a challenge now, but I'll be glad to have the extra protection underneath. Tom Banse was great to deal with!

Hope to get them on this weekend, they bolt up using all the factory bolt positions, no mod. necessary. I just need to pic up some longer bolts. I wanted to show some pics of the underside, particularly on the front plate, to show the reinforcing Tom has on his plates, which wouldn't be visible once they're on. I may clean them up real quick, and rattle can them with an extra coat of black, but they're good enough now to slap right on. I'll definitely have them ready for "The Carbonado Stump" on the 16th.

Like you had any problem with that stump.. not like I pulled you off it from highcentering...
now Mark on the other hand...
Yea Jowie and I hopefully will be fabbing a roof rack for my rig this weekend... nothing will be on it... yet...
still going back and forth... tire in back, tire up top.... I think it may go up top, as much as a PITA it is to get to, and how my center of gravity is affected, I dont think it will matter for me since I dont do much rock crawling/hill climbs...
was toying with the idea of just welding to my OEM trailer hitch and making a swing out carrier that way.. but eh...
Money would be nice to buy these things already made.. but current events make it near impossible to mod.. unless i make it myself.
