Got my 4runner back last week (after wreck pics)

So on April 6th I posted pics of the accident, I just got it back on monday... its not perfect but I'm happy with it. I cashed out (avoided paying my $2k detuctable), got a TJM, tint and a deck out of it too. Wheels tires and maybe a small body lift or suspension next.

Good to see that you got it fixed. Time for some lights on that bumper.

Thanks guys, its soo good to have it back (the kia rental was killing me!).
I'm going to put my old Hella 500's that I had on my '85 on as soon as I find the time and the small Hella Optilux under the rear for back up.

Yeah, I know what it is like driving a KIA.
Looks great, I was soo happy when I got mine tinted.
I got 7 windows (5 darkest, front 2 a couple shades lighter) for $135 I think.

Looks really good. Personally, I think your next mod should be getting a Sport hood. That would really finish off that sport look you got going.

You say it's not perfect, but you're happy with it...how so? And wow, a $2k deduct, better you than me.

well when you decide to upgrade your wheels and tires, I'll be more than happy to buy those sport wheels off you. I've been trying to find a set to buy.

yes, sport hood would be awesome if i could find one for cheap.
already got hella 500's, just need time to mount them.
i'm keeping the wheels b/c i like them, will paint them black and get 265/75 at's.
ya, loving the tint and so is my dog, $160 for 15% all windows.
ya, $2k detuctables suck but like i said, i awoided paying it b/c i cashed out for $4k, it was $6k of damage. its not perfect b/c the bumper has small gaps around the fenders and the headlight does not fit quite right (one of the tabs was broken off but we reused it vs. getting new one to save money), paint is not perfect...but like i said, i'm ok with it, avoided paying the deductable and got a cpl things on top of it including paying for my rental which my ins. did not cover.

is that 2WD? i would definitely get a suspension or body lift next. it's so much nicer looking down at everyone plus the air is cleaner!

looks like you got some good stuff. there is a body shop in town here that says "when getting in an accident is actually good for you car" talking about how good they are at repairing; but i would say you made out pretty good with your accident!

hehe thats good! So did your insurance pay for most of it then ? Only reason I ask..is cause I work for an insurance coporation..just curious to how claims are handled elswhere in the world! Sorry just seen what you paid on your detuctable...i'm happy I have public insurance vs private. Hittin 2 deer in my truck last summer landed me almost 6K$ estimate....my detuctable is 200$ :S
