Anyone have any input on rebuilt axles/cv assemblies for our 98 4 runner? We honestly have to question the $59 dollar specials,and the CV boots on them and if they will they be short lived when used with a lift?

I'm picking up oreilley new cv's this week. I'll be running those and my junkyards will be spares

Unless you use them alot then I wouldn't worry about it. I rarely have the need for 4x4 at all even on the trail and often don't even lock my hubs. so this is really a personal choice, of course new is always better but if you don't use them they are about the same.

I did the exact same, O'reilly was right around $90.00 for the complete axle with lifetime guarantee.

for $30.00 I would too!! I like O'Reiley better than autozone any how.
