Good Mechanics in San Diego

What mechanics would you all recommend in San Diego? Say one that will do general repairs on my cars and also one that would work on my Tacoma?

I go to Greg's Auto in El Cajon and they do good work, but they do not do temp gauges or tranny coolers or stuff like that, they just fix things that are broken.

Central and South and East San Diego are better. North County is a long drive.

Thanks
Bill

There's quite a bit of good truck shops... Protrux comes first to mind. I never taken anything there though, and they are in San Marcos. You might want to give them a call and ask them if theres any down in your area.

Bill Smith automotive is my favorite, but, its in Solana Beach too... Those guys are killer, and they all drive Toyota trucks.
