Good Deal?

O.k guys...Need some advice....Just saw a kicken 4Runner today for sale....So I stopped to take a looksie.....It's an 85, SFA, 3" body lift and 5" suspension lift. The truck looks awesome. Original 22RE and stock gears (4.10's) But he put some headers on the motor and some other mods. Put a dual transfer case that's crawling at, I think he said 84:1? Does that sound right? The interior is in mint condition....I spoke with him over the phone and he told me that he's put over 10k into it...but just doesn't have time to wheel anymore so he's letting it go for $5,500.....I'll see if I can snag some pics and post them.....tell me what you guys think....

How many miles on the motor?

Does he have lockers too?

Are the tires in good shape?

Dual t-cases sounds right I think with stock gearing but check Marlin's web site.

Good luck,

Warren

126k on the motor. 35" Conti Trac AT's steel belted. Front and rear lockers. Same set up as the Marlin transfer cases but he had it done locally and used adapters from Advance Adapters.

Oh wow. I've got a 94 and it just rolled over to 125k. I would buy it for sure if I had the $$.
