Good deal?

Well, I did some research and decided that I want to go with some new BFG Dueler Revo's, size 265/70R16, and the local tire shop told me that I could get a set of 4 for $600.00 out the door. (I'm assuming that includes installation). Does this sound like a decent deal or should I search elsewhere? This is my first tire purchase if you cant tell
Thanks in advance!

Bridgestone Dueller Revos. Shop it around, I bet if you go to Firestone and tell them you have this price they can match it with there price.

Ryan,

You mean Bridgestone Revo ATs, not BFG (BF Goodrich). Not the same thing.

I paid $616 for my Revos (265/75/16). If that price includes installation, its a pretty good price. In fact, the size you wrote was more expensive for me. Something about being a non-standard tire size which i didn't quite beleive but i wanted the 32's anyways.

Hey, dont be a fool on a stool like me: those ass clowns at Discount Tire Centers in El Monte told me that they had a Hunter machine w/ the Haweka adapter but they didn't. Took it back 3 times and those Armo thugs just kept jerking me off. Thus do this: if the purchase price does not include installation and balancing, tell them NOT to put it on your bill. Just find out if a local Toy dealership that has it and just go there. Cost me about $50 and it was balanced right the very first time.

Bob

ps and bring your Taco to Pismo 4RJ2, sucka!

Thanks for the replies guys! lol yeah I get the BFG and Bridgestone brands mixed up all the time. I did the same thing at the first shop I went to today and the guy looked at me like "huh?". hehe. Well I'll do a little more searching but chances are I'll end up going with what I've been offered, since it seems reasonable.
Bob- So when is 4RJ2? I'll look into it, but I'm just a measly 2WD with no locker Maybe if its not too far from now I'll have one....

Ryan,

Yeah, its reasonable. Its in the ballpark. Just make sure about the Hunter balancer w/ Haweka adapter. If they look at you like a dog after you've cut the cheese in his face, look elsewhere for a place that does.

Pismo 4RJ2 is July 9-11. And don't worry re no 2WD and no locker. Plenty of people w/ 2WD are coming. Several have mastered the art of driving in 2WD. Casey will be there and though hes now 4WD, he can give you really good pointers. Too bad Jason is being deployed. He can show you too.

The key is airing down below 10 psi, good forward momentum, and keeping it.
