God wants me to have a new exhaust system!

The hangar broke free!
Now I have an excuse for the wife as to why I have to spend money on a new exhaust system.
I'm in the market for sizes and part numbers from you guys.
I want a Dynomax muffler, just not sure what type, or what size pipes, etc I need to go with it.

All the part numbers and sizes you need are on Corey's exhaust comparison page. Look at his profile and you'll find the relevant links to his webpage.

Good luck!

Dynomax part number is 17747 and 2 1/4 pipe....this is what I just put on two days ago. If you want loud...this is not it. It is louder than stock...just not much.

Not loud, just a nice low growl.

I run an off-brand (but gorgeously-made) header from summit, a summit brand turbo muffler, and a high-flow cat (yep, from summit, too). All together with a 2.5" all the way back. I cut the flange off the header collector (it's a 2.5" collector) and welded the pipe right to it. Talk about straight through! Awesome sound under throttle, quiet on the highway, and picked up a ˟˟˟˟load of power at mid-high end. Oh, and 2mpg, too :-)

I'vs got a 94 Pickup, 22RE. What is the stock pipe size? I want to redo my whole exhaust (header, cat, muffler, pipes). What did you have to weld? I don't really know much about exhaust, but if I stick with factory sizes, will I need to weld anything or do anything else that I would have to bring it to a shop for? Thanks for the help.
