Gen 1 supercharger manual?
Does anyone have access to or know an online resource for a generation one s/c (grey/magnuson) for the 3.4L? I am doing an install on a s/c purchased off of ebay with instructions from the generation 2 (black/eaton). Big issue is I don't know if I am missing any installation hardware...if its the same and what vaccuum lines go where.
I appreciate any help. Nothing more frustrating than being ready to install but missing a bolt (8x1.25x170 specifically)
Thanks all!

No help with the manual. you may find my last post in this thread helpful.
I bought from boltdepot.com 180s and 160s. I didn't even try the 160s. I ended up trimming the 180mm down to 170mm then dye'ing (?) more threads onto the shank. 10mm of washers wouldn't be horrible. ALso, if you check the torque spec's on the head, they're pretty low (so a 160mm bolt might be fine as well).

I got lucky on the bolt...my local Toyota dealer had one in their backstock (to the tune of $15). So only the installation instructions are left! If anyone needs installation instructions for a gen 2 www.customtacos.com keeps the pdf on their server. But thanks for the help!
If anyone has any installation pictures of a gen 1 I might be able to piece it togather?
thanks

I believe the gen2 manual has all the items for the hardware kit broken out by line item (including bolt size and pitch etc). I was able to find all the bolts (Save the long ones) at Ace. Vacuum hose and tees came from the auto parts store. I believe the way the kit works - gen2s and late model engines use less of the parts.
That should leave you needing the throttle bracket, belt and dynamic tensioner (all available online).
What year is your vehicle/engine?
You can click on the link in my signature for some overview shots of my engine w/ gen1 supercharger. If you have specific requests for detailed shots, I may be able to help you out.

Thanks Ben - that is a huge help! Gadget emailed me a vaccuum diagram from a Gen 2 s/c that he hand-drew in the Gen 1 s/c vaccuum lines. I will take it to work in Monday and scan it in to my computer so I can post for everyone. I think I am set to install now...I already purchased the dynamic belt tensioner, dipstick relocation bracket, one-way check valve, new s/c belt and multiple M8 and M10 bolts. Since my rig (a 1997 4runner Limited by the way) is my daily driver I am trying to make sure I can be up and running the next day! I scored a set of TRD headers on ebay as well but am unsure if they are correct for my vehicle...but that is another post altogather.
Thanks All!
