frozen rear window

I am having problems with frozen rear window every cold morning.I am afraid to force it because my mechanic warned me that the motor would skip and then it would be realy expensive to repair it.Does anybody knows a way to prevent freezing because it is realy hard to put a lot of stuff in the trunk through a front door .The window realeses after truck is warm but often I dont have too much time in the mornings .

Thanks!

Btw. here are the first pics of my rig

Spray application of liquid fire type product or aerosol alcohol type window defroster along the bottom weather strip is usually enough to free mine up. Good Luck

Dampen a rag in motor oil, then wipe all the seals and points of contact. The idea is to have something with water displacement properties that does not freeze and will stay on there.
