Front and rear locker ?

I found a set of used arb lockers with pump for a decent price. My question is with front and rear locked would the tundra front and lc coils in the rear be enough lift or should I just do the 99 springs with spacers. Our trails are more woods like including mud holes ravines and wash outs and fallen tree nothing crazy. I ill be adding armor on the underside either way. Just curious what you guys would do. It's also my dd and the running boards gotta stay on for the wife. Appreciate all your thoughts. One more hing mines a 02 4runner he says the front locker is not add. Can it be? Thanks

Bamachem, one of the pioneers of the Tundra lift mod had front and rear lockers. So it should be ok.

I just installed front and rear ARB air lockers in my 2002 4Runner. I didn't run into any issues. As far as the lift, just do what you need.

Function-wise, there may be no need for a lift. But personally, I would go for a lift using the 1999-2000 4Runner tall coils and 32" (P265/75R16) tires for better ground clearance since the stock 2001-2002 have the short springs.

Visually, I would go for the TRD Tundra/LC80 lift and 33" (LT285/75R16 or LT285/70R17) tires.

Thanjs for input. I run 265/75/16 now ill have to see which way is the best deal for the money for the lift wise. I need struts springs and shocks anyhow

I have a 99 with tall coils and I cleared 285's little rub in the front but nothing to worry about. Now Im running Ome lift but didn't notice to much of a difference since its already taller. 265's work great but not much cheaper. Locker and tires are where its at though. You can't go anywhere without them!

Ya I r read my post ha ha damn beer doesn't help when typing. I want to get into the off road scene. Nothing major we don't hav rocks and things like that its mainly washouts down trees, and mud. Was curious if I had front and rear lockers and skid plates would a lift be necassary. If so which would do (it's still my dd don't wanna go higher than needed) 99 coils with spacers or just do the tundra fronts and lc rear

Haha! Yeah I've been on that same boat. All of it would be helpful offroad. Tundra and LC coils are great for a daily driver rig. You should do some research on some equivalent shocks as well. The OME suspension setup is a little more of a rough ride. I dream of having a rear locker on my daily, but as for a front locker on a DD I've heard bad things. Such as trouble on the road turning. But there is more info on that here on yotatech.

Lift and tires keeps your frame off the ground. Lockers keep all tires turning in mud and uneven terrain. Just stating the obvious to keep it a simple decision

A rear locker will get you farther in most off road situations then a 3" lift and bigger tires. Front & rear lockers should make you damn near unstoppable. You may have to take a different line without a lift than trucks with lifts take, but with the lockers you can pretty much blaze your own trail

They are both air lockers so no probs with turning I'm hoping the guy gets back to me on them
