Front Lift Opinions Needed
After about 2 years with stock front springs and Daystar 2.5" spacers, the springs are starting to sag. I have the LC setup in the rear, which is now giving ~3.5" of lift. I think 3" in the front would be perfect, but I don't want to run spacers again if at all possible. SAW's are out of the question because of the cost. I've done research on Tundra coils, but it looks like they give about 2" in the front, unless you do two topouts on each side, which I don't want to do either because of demolishing CV angles.
I found this link on Wab Fab's site for 3" OME front lift coils and am thinking this might finally be the solution. It's the top package that runs $209.00 with OME coils, top plate spaces and longer bolts. The link is here:

So, my questions are: has anyone used this setup? How is ride versus stock? How would this system do off road? Which shocks would you recommend? I know the owner is a member of YT and has a great reputation. Any thoughts?

The only way you're going to get a full 3" safely is with adjustable coilovers (SAW, King, Donahoe, etc) or a large amount of spring preload on the struts (ie very stiff setup). The Tundras will give you about 2" without spacers (you could add a topout spacer, but you'd still be at 2.5" max). Not sure which OME's Brian's got for sale. The 881's will give you about 1.25" and the 882's about 2.25" to 2.5" (you could get up to about 2.75" to maybe 3" with a topout spacer, but if you have a heavy bumper or winch, they will sag over time....and without those springs are very stiff). Bottom line is that it's very hard to get a front setup using IFS to sit level with LC coils in the rear.

Why don't more people use adjustable coilovers for the 4Runners? Maybe it's just me, but most of the time when I see a post like this the answer given is OME/Tundra with some top outs.
I know they are expensive, but I personally love the ride my Donahoe's give me and the ability to stay level when adding bumpers, winches, etc is really nice IMO.
