front end noise
I'm getting a bad roar like sound with a vibration to it coming from my front end but its not constant it comes and goes regardless of speed it also just started to pop every now and then like cv axles any ideas on the cause of the roar and how to determine if my bearings are going out?

Obviously it's hard to diagnose a sound on the internet, but here's some thoughts..
Lift each tire off the ground, grab it and try to wobble it. Spin them and see if there is resistance or grinding (keep in mind that the brake pads usually rub the rotors a little so don't mistake that sound for grinding). Look at everything under the front end and see if there are any worn bushings, leaking or torn boots/ball joints/tie rod ends, those kinds of things. If you don't know what you're looking at, look for rubber parts and inspect.
For your CVs, go to a parking lot or something and do tight circles slowly in forward and reverse (in 2wd) and listen. They usually pop if they are going bad.
How's the tread on the tires? If you haven't done one for a while, an alignment at a good shop and letting the tech know about it would be a good idea.
