Front Bumper Relocation Bracket.

So, I just did my RB 1inch body lift... Piece of Cake. Took me 1 hour tops.... But I ran into a problem.

I dont think my front bumper relocation brackets fit correctly. Is there some trimming involved or what? My bumper is sitting on my truck right now tweaked as a mofo.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

i have a PA lift, but from what i have heard... it isnt the bumper brackets that are off, they are all uniform... its the bumper brackets on the truck.... i had to do some trimming/finish cutting to get my bumper on my 2nd gen truck setup.....

I believe with the 99-02 front bumpers, you have to trim/grind the OEM bumper brackets to fit the 1" bumper raise bracket that you get from 4Crawler. I think Roger states that on his site. I had to grind mine quite a bit to get them to fit.

Covered in the instructions:

http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/...l#FrontBumper3

At 1" you need to grind off the lip of the stock bracket so the bolt can sit flush and then drill a new mounting hole in the stock bracket to line up with the relocation bracket, or if you have access to a welder, have the bracket welded.
