front brakes

when i press on the brakes while driving the front end shakes and steering wheel also, i put new pads on put did not turn rotors, are you suppose too, if the rotor is warped do i need new one or will turning them correct it, the old pads were cracked and 1/2 left on them, wondered what made them crack 97 4rnr 4x

Warped rotors must be replaced turning them won't be possible. Were your old pads oe? See alot of cheap pads crack under high heat and stress. Tires could also cause the symptoms you described, warped rotors usually cause a pulsating pedal.

Try loosening the lug nuts then tourqe them with a tourqe wrench sometimes after they been heated up many times from using the brakes it will go away
