With friends like these....

Hi everyone, I've been following the forum for a couple of month, ever since BajaTaco and SteveS introduced me to it.

I had been happy exploring the deserts in the US Southwest with my 95 stock 4Runner. Well, almost stock I put some little BFG All Terrains on a couple of years back.

Then I met SteveS and BajaTaco earlier this year and all of a sudden the truck needs to be modified It's nothing compared to what I see around here, just very basic stuff so far:

- added fuse box under dash
- added 3 permanent power 12V outlets (replacing ash tray)
- installed 2m radio and antenna (firestik hood channel mount)
- permanent install of CB (had it for awhile just temp installed, still uses mag mount antenna)
- inside/outside temp
- and today I had the truck at ProTrux to install 1.5 in Downey HD coils and Bilstein shocks all around.

I like exploring the deserts here in the Southwest. When on the trail I like to monitor the route via GPS and notebook running OziExlorer with 7.5" USGS topomaps. I haven't seen any talk about notebooks in a 4Runner. Anyone with some mounting ideas? Currently it gets mounted on passengers lap

Hey, glad to see you posting mi amigo

Congrats on the new lift. Hey folks, this is my pal that I was soliciting opinions for with this thread

It turns out that he was able to get an incredible deal from ProTrux (long story) so instead of doing it in my driveway, he had them do it So now when he comes to visit, we'll be out 'wheelin instead of wrenchin'

I think this would work better as the subtext of the banner instead of "Let the off-roading adventure begin"
