Frame Question

Are second gen std. cab frames the same as extended cab frames. What I want to do is put an ext cab second gen cab on a second gen std. cab frame. Are the body mounts the same? Found a rolled std cab and an extended cab. Thanks for the help.

Not to mention differences in brake cables, speedo cables, fuel tanks, blah blah blah. You can do it, if you know how to fab mounts.

it could be done. a buddy of mine mounted a chevy fullsize cab on a k5 blazer frame, and shortened a short bed 12" are welded it back together. it was sweet, but requires some skills.
