Which fr axle?
I have two cracked front cv boots and want to replace the axles. What axle does everybody reccomend? I've searched posts and get some info but not a ton. The shop I go to will do OEM replacements for $480 installed. Are LC Engineering axles better? What would you use? I have a 96 4run with an old OME lift with a diff drop and run 265/75/16's. It's a daily driver that also goes 4wheeling and minor crawling.

OEM axles are the best, but do what you can afford. Im assuming you have auto hubs? Would be wise to invest in a set of manual hubs. It will make your Cvs last longer.

Were they the O.G. CV's? Cuz if they were, think how long they lasted the first time around. I'd go Oreilly's and not worry about it. (I DID go Oreilly's, and haven't worried about it.)

I ran advanceds and they blew up as quick as stock ones did. Just spend 150 and get some new ones and install them yourself.
You could pay me to do it if I was closer.
