X2, they have a good kit out there that comes with all the brackets/components you need, as long as you have a stock location for them in the bumper

Do a search on here for Hella Micro De...you'll find a ton of info on them and places to buy. You can even retrofit in a set of HID bulbs if that's your pleasure.

If you have a SR-5 or Limited 99-02, a replacement to the factory fog lights is the Hella's.

It has a different bracket but is specific to the 4Runner.

Take a look at Hella Micro DE's for the 4Runner

I know several members who either replaced theirs or installed them on their SR-5. You can either plug into the factory harness and use existing stalk switch or if an SR -5 use their dash switch. Good instructions.

if you do go with those hellas, I had problems with water getting in so once i got them in good working order, I put a little silicone around the rubber seal on the back end and that seems to have solved the problem. Granted, the truck as been swimming a few times haham, still, not a bad idea if you ask me

True, the front tires throw water onto them and burn the bulbs. I made some custom splash guards that may help....

If not, there's a link in there where someone has fabricated some more professional-looking splash guards.

Your version should work just fine.

Otherwise, there's this one: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/3...shields-58066/

are the hellas better than the factory ones? I found this set that is identical brackets and everything,http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-02...6028QQtcZphoto don't know about the quality, with the hellas I would need new brackets right or can the old ones be used?

The set mentioned by Maine Runner is a good buy. I picked it up on Ebay for 100 bucks and it came with everything needed (brackets, wiring, switch).
