Flywheel replacement.
Hello fellas. I finally found the noise that has been getting on my nerves soooo bad. Took the inspection cover off & found that I had a cracked flywheel. Got one from the stealership for $171.00 (ouch). I am going to be replacing it tomorrow. The book gives 10 hours to do this!!!! It is a 95 4 runner v6 auto 4x4. Have any of ya'll found any shortcuts? Is there enough room to "slide" the tranny back enough to have a 3 or 4 inch area to work with? Any comments will be appreciated. I will be sure & eat my wheaties before starting the project. Thank's

flywheel...
its pretty simple, removed EVERYTHING so you can get to the flywheel, its not hard and there is no shortcuts, but it just a lot of stuff to take off just to get to the flywheel.
good luck.
