fluids
After viewing a lot of threads here about Amsoil Fluids, I am convinced that synthetic is the way to go. I have been running in my Jetta and Jeep Mobile One Syn. for years. So, I thought I would give Amsoil and try. My questions is this: What are all the fluilds that Amsoil makes that I can put in my runner?
Also, if there is anyone out there that likes something else, please speak up.

Amsoil makes motor oil, gear oil, and tranny fluid....everything you need for your rig.
The general consensus is to go with either Amsoil or Mobil 1 in your rig. A couple of guys use Royal Purple.

Like CTB said, motor, tranny, gear oils. They even do chasis grease. If you do any searches on the net for "amsoil vs mobil 1" or vice versa, you'll see Amsoil seems to have the edge...outperforms & outlasts Mobil 1. I haven't found one article that says the reverse, but they may be out there. Amsoil does cost more than Mobil 1 around here...

I've been using Havoline full synthetic motor oil with good results. It will go 5000 miles without turning black and its WAY cheaper and easier to buy at Autozone than have to mail order it or find a dealer or whatever you have to do to get AmsOil.
